Iftar Angkasawan with Rumah Limpahan Kasih @Capri by Fraser Kuala Lumpu

Ramadhan is a special time of the year,  where Muslim's around the world take a step back,  reflect,  forgive and focus on the greater goodness of the community. The yearly tradition of breaking fast or Iftar with orphans hosted by "Angkasawan Negara" of Angkasawan Communication joint together with Capri by Fraser Kuala Lumpur is continued this year with 40 orphans from Rumah Amal Limpahan Kasih in Puchong.

These children are comprising from the poor,  orphans and abandoned children whom bring cared, clothed and sent to school like any other children to experience their daily life growing up.  The home has housed 120 boys and girls aged between 8 to 17 years old. Apart from children,  old folks and single mothers are under the care of Rumah Amal Limpahan Kasih. Hotel management team was lead by General Manager, Mr Tony Ho commented,  " The children have been practising fasting since at a very young age. To see them feeling excited and cheerful despite having to fast during the day lights up the room. "

Eight years may have passed but for national astronaut, Dato Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor,  the journey into space and the experience of bring inside the international space station (ISS) still feels like " it was yesterday". It is however,  sad to say that to date,  some of us are still in the dark on the purpose and contribution of the historical journey to space,  especially the younger generation.

Therefore in order to share with the nation his personal life experiences,  Dato Dr Sheikh Muszaphar plan for his 8th celebration called it Malaysian Astronaut Exhibition  (MaEx2015) on 9th until 11st October 2015 with 3 Astronauts from Germany, Japan and Russian. This exhibition will be exciting to the kids especially,  his idol will implement more activities focus on "edutainment " and "I LOVE SCIENCE" subject. When it comes to charity,  there is no lack of sponsors and supports -Empire Furniture,  Commune, Tino'sPizza, Chatim,  Jubahsouq, AVON cosmetics,  Swift transportation and more all come into the scene to give their supporting hands.

The highlight for the day Is Dato shows us the video of earth from space from morning till night and night till morning, explaining lightning, clouds, land, aurora... fascinating indeed.

 

To make it a memorable Iftar for the children,  the organiser has planned a very exclusive and entertaining itinerary.  Special guests to join the charity event include Syafinaz Selamat, Gambit Saifullah, & Zahnita Wilson.
