Dorsett Grand Subang Weekend Kid’s Stay and Dine for Free!

When the kids exclaimed "Wow" upon entering this hotel room, you will for surely want to check this out! He may love the comfy bed, excited over the kids stuff, and I am particularly loving the cute panda turquoise backpack. Not to mention the cute soft teddy that comes with it. The kids love it too.. and that's why the bears lands to their custody.
Believe it or not, YES.. it comes FOC if you take the kids stay and dine free weekend package.
One set of the teddy that comes with kids toothbrush, kids room slipper, teddy and backpack.
(Alternatively RM40 for additional set - multiply if you have more kids and if they doesn't share their toys... :P)

First foremost thanks to Phyllis and Kelly in making a great arrangement for me and my family to a weekend getaway. An awesome pre-planned itinerary so that we could just follow and the free time in between enable me to take much naps (well - more than a nap - my zillionth most needed sleep).
And loving the details on the welcome card.

At RM298.00 net per room per day, families can enjoy a weekend in this Deluxe room with breakfast and free goodies for the kids (below 12 years old). The extra bed is included. Best of all - check out is at 4pm!

And look at the boss. Loving the bathrobe. And not forgetting the kids slipper too.

Some of the fine touches for the kids - rubber ducky at the bath tub, 2 plastic drinking cup for the kids, and coloring tools to get them busy. The sharp edges are well covered as safety measure for younger kids - didn't aware I did not take any photo - kids grown up and didn't pay attention to it. ;P

Bath Tub - love the fact that you can watch the kids from the glass panel. Both are growing up too fast - and we miss those old days naked picture of theirs. And... how I miss them being in the bath tub togehter and not fighting over who can play in the tub for longer time.

We proceed to the Cupcake Decorating at Café Aroma. For group booking of more than 5 families, Dorsett Grand Subang can arrange group families activities such as Cupcake decorating at RM30.00 nett per person (minimum 10 kids) and more to make your weekend a spectacular one!

I am pretty alert during the meals though. Jaden was "questioning" as he is waiting for me most of the time to eat as he wants to go to swim. After 2 hour sitting in the restaurant, he say "Mummy why usually you just take a lil food, and now you aren't stop eating?"... Today let me indulge.. it's holiday. It's really great to take advantage of no-cooking day or home-kitchen-close-day.

Dear hubby - we should do this more often during weekend. ;) He would definitely say yes - as happy wife happy family. (Bahahaha)

Here at Terazza Brasserie. It offers Barbeque Delight buffet option at RM115.00nett per person, and the children are entitled to dine at the buffet for FREE as part of the Kids Stay and Dine for Free offer!!

The Next day breakfast at Terazza Brasserie too. Love porridge the most, others standard breakfast menu. Love the hash brown too.

Loving the daddy and kids moment. Teaching both on how coffee machine works while giving me more time to eat. (Did I just say I eat again?" Yes I did
The kids took a swim after their morning breakfast. Kids pool is lovely.

During this coming school holidays, a kids playroom is setup as an entertainment for the kids. There are kids friendly movies with comfy chairs, lego building station - mega blocks for younger kids and coloring with Faber Castell.

For fun and learning outside the hotel, you may visit concierge desk for discount ticket for Kidzania. These tickets can be used anytime during or after your stay.

They are going to allocate bigger room for the kids playroom in future too.
On Sunday, before checking out, do make reservations at The Emperor to enjoy the family Dim Sum Brunch, from 10.30am to 2.30pm. While the children play at the kids corner outside the restaurant (in which they have activities such as colouring with Faber Castell and a kid's playset), parents can relax and end the weekend feasting on all Dim Sum Delights available, priced at RM78.00 net per person.

Selection of yummy dim sum

Some of the yummy hot food. The duck soup with salted vegetable and tofu is a must try as each of us took 2 bowl each. Prawn is good too.

More desserts - bottom right is jelly made of flowers.
On a last note, the hotel offers a kids friendly stay. The room service is pretty fast if you happen to need anything. It's a great weekend stay if you wanted a weekend getaway but doesn't want to travel afar. This hotel is near to Subang Parade if you want to go for a movie or shopping.
Food is good for both restaurant that we tried in the hotel. Pool is nice.

You may not find any other place around the hotel to wander, but there is live band at Piano Lounge for that sit back and relaxing moment after dinner.
