Old School Cafe @ The School, Jaya One, Petaling Jaya



 Old School Café is located at the well known Enrichment Mall at The School, Jaya One, Petaling Jaya. I love the wall mural art so much and the lighting is well lit in this outlet. They have another one in Bandar Puteri Puchong too.

 

Affordable and medium range priced for all pork dishes that you are looking for under a roof. ;)

A corner of old knick knacks that bring much memories of the olden days. Money from purchases in this corners are to put in the piggy cash box. It was then channeled to charitable organization for a good cause.

Loving the menu design too. Handwritten and drawn by school children's and very meaningful indeed. There is some explanation on the wall for the good quality pork meat. The concept of Old School is serving delicious pork dishes. Old school way, and others simple delicacies.

This is my favourite among all-Old School Nasi Lemak. Serving with acar ,roasted pork, cha yuk (marinated pork), cucumber,egg, peanuts, anchovies, pork curry and the sambal. The combination so perfect! Aromatic pork with tender meat along with the fragrant nasi lemak rice. Also not forgetting the spicy sambal that makes this dish so delicious.

A must try. Customer can opt for only one pork dish only as the below is the complete combo set and you may not want to have it all.

Old School Pork Burger- The pork patty was extremely soft, juicy and tender. Kids love the wedges. And I love the pineapple tat go with the burger. Charcoal bread makes it nutritious too.

 

Pork Salad. Refreshing and appetizing bowl of fresh salad with mixed vegetables and fruits topped with thin slices of succulent pork meat. Dipping sauce is made from pineapple juice and others that makes it appetising

 

 Hungarian Sausages - mixtures of garlic, original and spicy flavor

My favourite meal is BBQ Pork Rib. Well marinated and perfectly grilled. Old School didn't use much gravy for this rib, unlike the usual one you taste outside. They want you to taste the meat and yes, simply delicious and smells great.

Pork Cutlet steak. Love the sweet tomato sauce. Meat is tender. Love the wedges.

Spagetti Bolongnese

Curry laksa noodle, broth is thick and the serving is good.

 

My favourite chocolate milk shake. yummy! 

Affogato...

Bitter gourd with pineapple drink. Sounds bitter but its a great combination and I love it.
