In conjunction with Malaysia’s 61st National Day, the first-ever “Selfie Museum” is launched. The museum showcases 9 rooms filled with larger than life dessert themed sculptures for a fun-filled Instagram photo-taking day out. There are total of 5 free desserts for us, the visitors; Sirap cupcakes, Baskin Robbins ice cream, tarts and TeaLive tea. The inspiration behind this is to allow Malaysians to experience a multi-sensorial journey from sight, touch to taste.
The “Selfie Museum” is 7,000sqft in size, sponsored by international and local favourite brands; Samsung, Pandora, Benefit Cosmetics, Baskin Robbins, Hotlink Red, TeaLive, llaollao, dUCk Scarves, and Lingham Chili Sauce. It aims to connect people together and bring more colour, excitement, fun and laughter to the bustling city of Kuala Lumpur.
If you love to selfie, and to take Instagram photos with your friends and loved ones, this is "Da" Place. ;)
We check out these“Selfie Museum” Rooms for 2 hours and loving it. Love the photos as there is ample lighting, great for family photos or individual photos. Just that you only have 10 minutes in each session and you need to be quick. Baskin robbins ice cream is the best while cupcakes to me is sweet. For me not so much on the desserts but time together having fun with the family and taking photos.
1. “The Giant Cakes” Room by Pandora
This room displays a variety of colourful giant cake sculptures.
2. “Everything’s Sweet” Room by Benefit Cosmetics
Filled with eye-catching candies and dessert sculptures, this room adds a pop of colour in photos. We get to enjoy soft and fluffy corn or lychee marshmallows as we walk through the beautiful “Fluffy Path” to the next room.
3. “Fluffy Path” Room
The fluffy path is about the very moment of happiness, after a long day of celebrations and laughter!
4. “Ice-Cream World” Room by Baskin Robbins
The room presents a delicious life-size Baskin Robbins ice-cream cone and there is a free scoop of Baskin Robbins ice cream.
5. “dUCkies Café” Room by dUCk Scarves
A wefie with a life-size ikat tepi Teh Ais.
6. “Rainbow” Room
A magical life-size unicorn is the star of this super colourful rainbow room. and a life-size durian sculpture!
7. “Super Happiness” Room by SAMSUNG Galaxy
Here is where we can go ba-na-nas and jump onto a life-size banana to take photos. Lots of giggling as we jump into the ball pools. You will be assured of it's cleanliness as the team does regular clean up on the place as well as cleaning up the plastic balls.
8. “Splash Lab” Room by TeaLive and llaollao
A perfect combination of bubble-tea and yogurt inspired room. This room showcases a life-size sculpture of our favourite Malaysian bubble tea drink with giant pearls too! There will be a refreshing complimentary cup of tea to quench your thirst.
9. “Do-Nut-Stop” Room by Hotlink
Life-size donuts in this room to selfie and one will receive a free local flavored tart; a choice of coconut or banana!

Visitors are encourage to participate by taking a creative selfie and posting it on their Instagram with the hashtag #selfielah and #selfietogether to stand a chance to win special prizes such as the new Samsung Galaxy Note9 and many more on a weekly basis.

There is a big donut for you to lay on it to take a boomerang video. Thereafter, you will be given a link to download the video. Kids love it as it's fun.
