I recently went to Village Grocer at My Town Cheras for the launching event of U.S. Highbush Blueberries from the United States for it's blueberries, "The Little Blue Champions" campaign.
Blueberries are now in season from April to late September. Good news is blueberries are conveniently available frozen (frozen straight from the farm), all year round now. It can be kept in the freezer for at least 10 months. Here are some delicacies that we can make from sparkling blueberry juice, blueberry granola, blueberry cakes and others.

Linora shared two easy recipes that are great for those on a journey to a healthier lifestyle and also for the whole family. Kids as young as toddlers are advised to start snacking on blueberries to benefit from its ability to improve cognitive abilities. Cauliflower Blueberry Muffin
Serving: 10
Ingredients:
1/4 cups of blueberries fresh or frozen
1 1/2 cups unsweetened applesauce
100 g raw cauliflower florets
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups almond flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
4 tablespoons PB butter
1/3 cup coconut sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 tablespoons chia seeds
Steps:
1. Set oven to 180C
2. Place all ingredients except the blueberries in food processor or blender. Blend until smooth.
3. lay out the baking muffin cups. Lightly spray with olive oil or cooking spray/ brush olive oil on the cups then evenly divide the batter.
4. Place the desired amount of blueberries into each muffin cup - can be about 4-5 blueberries,
5. Bake for 20-22 min, or until the center is cooked through and a toothpick comes out clean.
Blueberry Flavoured Milk
2 cups of blueberries fresh or frozen
1-2 cups full milk/ almond milk/ coconut milk
2 teaspoons honey
1 tablespoons chia seeds
Steps:
Add everything to a blender and press go! Serve.
Agree! blueberries contains many vitamins. but in Malaysia is really expensive...
