Cuti Cuti Malaysia brings us to Negeri Sembilan and we are at Pusat Ikan Hiasan Port Dickson. It is a free aquarium for public visit. Operation hours is from 9 am to 5 pm. We had a great time there. Even though the place is small, it stores many types of sea creatures there. But there are many exhibits closed for maintenance like the sea turtle exhibit when we are there.
Exotic sea creatures like the remora fish, moray eels and bamboo sharks are found there. We saw clown fishes, blue tangs , sniper eels, puffer fishes etc. The tanks are clean and the fishes are swimming happily. Had a blast looking around after many months without going to an aquarium.
It is also our first time seeing shark egg cases there. They might look a bit like dumplings or seaweed.
Other than that, they do showcase live corals in tanks. Some of them are caught moving. That actually means that the coral is feeding or breathing. There are also some kind of shrimp looking creatures crawling around the corals. That exhibit is bright for easy viewing.
They are a photo booth for you to take photos. Although the place is small, I do recommend going there as a family if you do not want to spend money on aquariums. But i do wish they could extend the place and showcase more sea creatures.
