I recently went to Village Grocer at My Town Cheras for the launching event of U.S. Highbush Blueberries from the United States for it's blueberries, "The Little Blue Champions" campaign

Blueberries are now in season from April to late September. Good news is blueberries are conveniently available frozen (frozen straight from the farm), all year round now. It can be kept in the freezer for at least 10 months. Here are some delicacies that we can make from sparkling blueberry juice, blueberry granola, blueberry cakes and others.

Blueberries might be small in size but definitely proof that great things come

and are known to fend off heart disease, cancer and brain ageing. It contains a significant amount of antioxidants, as well as loaded with Vitamin C, minerals such as potassium, iron, manganese which aids in the management of anti-inflammatory ailments.

Malaysian fitness icon and health advocate, Linora Low took the lead on the campaign urge those who are leading an active lifestyle, it's a great snack that keeps you feeling full and satiated, reduces inflammation and lowers blood pressure.
