Segway Fun Ride @ Lake Garden

It was an awesome experience, thanks to mum dad bro sis to look after our trio's, we had a double date with sis and Jack at Lake Garden, strolling along Lake Garden with this superb Segway a.k.a Personal transporter.

It has been 13 years back and yes, Lake Garden is our first date venue back then. *blush* The garden has changed so much and its really lovely with flowers and the flora were magnificent.

Weather was great throughout the hour and we manage to snap lovely photo's. I notice the men were like teenagers from afar as they go around with the Segway as if they are back to play again. ;)

Segway is a self balancing machine. One thing to look out for is the unbalanced floor or road as my sis has just tripped over a pipe and caused herself a mild injury. Sad to know that the provider doesn't have proper first aid and we do note that they should also provide good safety measure, ie. knee and elbow pad. Overall, is a great hangout with Segway, great till we feel that walking afterwards took a little more effort than usual. ;P

Inspiring article for mothers of handicapped Child

Was going through the website and find this so so true. ;D

Most women become mothers by accident, some by choice, a few by social pressures, and a couple by habit. This year, nearly 100,000 women will become mothers of handicapped children.
Did you ever wonder how mothers of handicapped children are chosen?
Somehow I visualize God hovering over Earth selecting his instruments for propagation with great
care and deliberation. As he observes, he instructs his angels to make notes in a giant ledger.
Armstrong, Beth; son; patron saint, Matthew. Forrest, Marjorie; daughter; patron saint, Cecelia.
Rudledge, Carrie; twins; patron saint .... give her Gerard, he's used to profanity.
Finally, he passes a name to an angel and smiles, Give her a handicapped child.
The angel is curious. Why this one, God? She's so happy. Exactly, smiles God. Could I give a handicapped child a mother who does not know laughter? That would be cruel. But has she patience? asks the angel. I don't want her to have too much patience or she will drown in a sea of self pity and despair. Once the shock and resentment wears off, she'll handle it. I watched her today. She has that feeling of self and independence. She'll have to teach the child to live in her world and that's not going to be easy. But, Lord, I don't think she even believes in you. God smiles. No matter. I can fix that. This one is perfect. She has just enough selfishness. The angel gasps, Selfishness? Is that a virtue? God nods. If she can't separate herself from the child occasionally, she'll never survive. Yes, there is a woman I will bless with a child less then perfect. She doesn't realize it yet, but she is to be envied. She will never take for granted a spoken word. She will never consider a step ordinary. When her child says Mommy for the first time, she will be present at a miracle and know it! When she describes a tree or a sunset to her blind child, she will see it as few people ever see my creations. I will permit her to see clearly the things I see - ignorance, cruelty, prejudice - and allow her to rise above them. She will never be alone. I will be at her side every minute of every day of her life because she is doing my work as surely as she is here by my side.
And what about her patron saint? asks the angel, his pen poised in midair. God smiles.
A mirror will suffice.

When will my child walk and talk?

Often we awaits our child to talk and walk, anticipation for these milestones. It came naturally and they will get to that before 2 years old.

April's milestone come and go, give a little hope to us,the proud parent and didn't walk after her 7-8 steps. She called daddy, dirty, aunty in her early months and didn't repeat her vocal and till now. Daddy is hoping to hear the word "papa" so badly. Nope, didn't utter any. Dissapointed at times, he would just sum it off by dissapointment and at little times get "angry". Sad to see the situation as I am unsure and helpless at times. She would say " aaa.. aaa... aa...." resembles of some kind of communication with us, but to us, it doesn't sound a word or phases.

**

Going through physio and speech theraphy, I know she is trying to communicate at her best, seeing her expression let me know her needs, we do not speak but its somehow by eye contact or the feeling of she wanting something, whether its a hug, food, toys, play - its just the connection that we built within that can't be describe in words.

**

April gave us surprise at times, to be able to hold on things to walk, to be able to hum 2 songs which she hear often in the car, one nursery rhyme and another is a musical.

My angel has turns two in a glimpse. How time flies and darling, we are still ancitipate the moment you will be walking in front of us. Daddy and mummy dreamt of you running around happily and we would love that in reality in a near time. ;)

Photography @ KLCC Park

Weekend has been fun - you hear it right (FUN). Fun chasing the kids, fun pleasing them with their demanding gestures ie food, carry up and down, strolling them around, and the best place you can go is park and this week we are at KLCC park!

KLCC park is great for a kids hangout as there is a lot of playground for them to mingle around, climb up and down, to and fro, they got so excited with things and it can last up to hours of excitement for the adventureous and non-adventurous one will not be bored just looking at other kids.

I had a towel on my head as ohh.. hasn't been sweating too much lately, not even after pilate. ;P

Mummy tries daddy's gadget on the kids and awesome weather do a little trick. It turns out well, and I got a pat on the back for a good shot. ;D
